NHRC gives authorities two months to Act on rights of women prisoners and children

- It also stresses legal aid, family relationships, children’s best interests and rehabilitation after release.
- The NHRC directed nine Union Ministries and state and Union Territory authorities to submit Action Taken Reports within two months.
