North Korea denies involvement in record Binance crypto theft blamed on its hackers
- North Korea on Tuesday denied that its hackers carried out the record cryptocurrency theft at Binance.
- Kim Yo Jong, the sister of leader Kim Jong Un, called the FBI attribution a trite provocation and absurd rhetoric.
- The FBI blamed a group called TraderTraitor, which it also tied to the 1.5 billion dollar Bybit hack last year.
- Binance said on Friday that more than 6 billion dollars was taken, the largest crypto theft on record.
