North Korean hackers pose as recruiters, steal nearly ₹100 crore from IT job seekers worldwide

- Hackers posed as recruiters and asked candidates to download files during fake interviews or coding tests.
- Hackers infected around 30,000 devices and stole information linked to more than 7,000 crypto wallets.
- Authorities said about ₹100 crore in cryptocurrency was transferred to North Korea between December 2025 and July 2026.
