- The Centre approved over 1.93 lakh additional houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban 2.0.
- Total sanctioned houses under the scheme have reached 20.80 lakh following these approvals.
- Approvals cover 11 states under Beneficiary-Led Construction and Affordable Housing in Partnership housing categories.
- The houses are intended for eligible urban families belonging to the Economically Weaker Section.
