Over 2,00,000 Telangana voters receive unexplained notices in Special Intensive Revision
- Over 2.01 lakh Telangana voters are listed under “Reason Not Recorded” in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision.
- These voters make up about 2.2% of the state’s voter population, and all of them are aged 35 or above.
- The cases are spread across 30,971 of Telangana’s 36,169 polling booths, rather than being limited to one area.
- Researchers said the missing reasons could indicate gaps between voter lists and the notices served to electors.
