Preity Zinta, Pankaj Tripathi among 18 new members of film certification board
- The Centre has reconstituted the Central Board of Film Certification CBFC with 18 new members.
- Actors Preity Zinta, Pankaj Tripathi, Suniel Shetty, Pallavi Joshi and Roopali Ganguly are among those appointed.
- The new board takes charge immediately and will serve for three years or until further government orders.
- The CBFC decides which films can be shown publicly in India and what certificate they receive before release.
