Putin's party wins Russia's wartime election with 57.8 per cent, taking 355 of 450 seats
- Putin's United Russia party has won 57.8 per cent of the vote with over 95 per cent counted, up from 49.8 per cent in 2021.
- That gives it 355 of the 450 seats in the State Duma, keeping the majority it needs to amend Russia's constitution.
- Putin cast it as a test of support for the war in Ukraine, in Russia's first parliamentary vote since the 2022 invasion.
