Rape convict Ram Rahim is out of jail for 17th time, gets 21-day temporary release
- A court convicted Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim in 2017 of raping two female followers and sentenced him to 20 years in prison.
- He walked out of Sunaria jail in Rohtak on Tuesday for a 21-day temporary release and will stay at his Dera in Sirsa.
- This is his third release this year, after 40 days of parole in January and another 30 days in May.
- Ram Rahim has been granted temporary release from prison 17 times since his conviction in 2017.
