Rubio says Reliance can refine Venezuelan crude during Jamnagar refinery visit

Reliance chairperson Mukesh Ambani showed US Secretary of State Marco Rubio the Jamnagar refinery on Wednesday.
Rubio said Reliance can refine the heavy crude produced in the western hemisphere, including Venezuela.
US ambassador Sergio Gor said on X that India’s LPG imports from the US rose from under 10% to 67% in a year.
Gor also cited Reliance’s planned investment in the first new US oil refinery in 50 years.
