Run on ice: Ladakh’s Pangong Frozen Lake Marathon returns in February

The Pangong Frozen Lake Marathon runs on 24 and 25 February 2027, on the frozen lake in Ladakh.
The full marathon and ice ultra are on 24 February. The half marathon and a 5 km run follow on 25 February.
Entry is Rs 99,999 for runners coming from outside Ladakh, covering nine days of stay, food and travel.
Ladakh residents and personnel posted there pay less. The 2023 edition set a Guinness record at 4,273 m.
