- Civil Defence issued Mecca’s first air threat alert, also covering Jeddah and Taif, before lifting it shortly afterward.
- The US issued a Level 3 “Reconsider Travel” advisory on September 15, citing risks from drone and missile attacks.
- The advisory also warned about exit bans and strict social media laws, while keeping the Yemen border under Level 4.
