Saudi helicopter crash near Yemen border raises questions over Houthi claim

A Saudi AH-6i military helicopter crashed in the Najran region near the Yemen border on Sunday.
The Saudi-led coalition said a technical malfunction caused the crash, killing both crew members.
Yemen’s Houthi group had claimed it shot down a Saudi Apache helicopter near Najran on Saturday.
It remains unclear whether the Houthi claim and the reported crash involved the same helicopter.
