Sonam Wangchuk skips Delhi protest, urges leaders to stay united and peaceful

Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk said he could not join Saturday’s Delhi protest as he was busy in Ladakh.
He posted on X that he was building artificial glaciers and working on flood safety in the high Himalayas.
Wangchuk urged protest leaders to stay united and asked young participants to remain absolutely peaceful.
He had been a key face of the July protest at Jantar Mantar, ending a 26-day hunger strike in hospital.
