Spotify plans AI feature allowing users to remix songs in 2027

Spotify reportedly plans to launch an AI-powered music remix service in the first quarter of 2027.
• Users could create their own versions of songs, including turning folk music into dance tracks using AI.
The feature may cost an additional $4–$5 per month for Premium subscribers, though pricing is not finalised.
Spotify has secured deals with some music labels and is negotiating with Sony Music and Warner Music for licensing.
