  • The Swedish firm EQT plans to invest about $50 billion in India by 2030, having put in $26 billion since it began here.
  • Around $30 billion goes to data centres, $15 to 20 billion to private equity, and about $5 billion to solar and renewables.
  • It has already spent $10 billion on Indian data centres, and wants capacity to rise from one gigawatt to as much as five.
  • Much of it runs through EdgeConneX and AdaniConneX, its joint venture with the Adani group.
