Tamil Nadu gets its first Vistadome coach with stunning mountain views

Southern Railway will introduce Tamil Nadu's first Vistadome coach on the Madurai–Guruvayur Express from October 22.
The air-conditioned coach features large glass windows, a glass roof and comfortable seating for scenic journeys.
Passengers can enjoy panoramic views of the Western Ghats, especially along the scenic Sengottai–Punalur route.
• The Vistadome coach will operate four days a week on a trial basis until January 16, 2027 with fares starting at ₹515.
