‘Terror will get a befitting response’: PM Modi sends message to Pakistan on surgical strikes anniversary
- Modi said India now follows a “zero-tolerance” policy against terrorism, during Mann Ki Baat on September 27.
- He was marking 10 years since the September 28–29, 2016 surgical strikes, carried out after the Uri terror attack.
- Modi cited the 2019 Balakot airstrike and Operation Sindoor as examples of India’s tougher counter-terror approach.
- He said terrorists targeting India would receive a “befitting response” and accused Pakistan of sponsoring terrorism against India.
