Tesla roadster bookings open in India but the ₹2.5 crore figure has a twist

Tesla opened reservations for its upcoming Roadster in India on October 17, 2026.
The Thrust version requires a total reservation payment of approximately ₹2.50 crore.
The Performance version requires a total reservation payment of approximately ₹50.06 lakh.
Tesla expects Roadster production to begin in 2028 but has not confirmed India delivery dates.
