Thirty-five roads controlled and 22 diversions, as Delhi prepares for BRICS
- More than 35 roads in Delhi come under traffic control from today, with 22 diversion points across the city.
- Nearly 4,800 traffic personnel are deployed, and roadside parking is banned within 200 metres of those roads.
- Police are advising the Metro for anyone heading to the airport, as central and south Delhi worst affected.
- Mathura Road, Janpath, Akbar Road, Ashoka Road and Safdarjung Road are among those motorists should avoid.
