TVK keeps Vijay's 2029 PM bid on the table despite Congress ultimatum
- TVK has not joined the INDIA bloc, short for Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance.
- The party has also not announced its strategy or prime ministerial candidate for the 2029 Lok Sabha election.
- TVK ministers KA Sengottaiyan and CTR Nirmal Kumar did not rule out projecting Chief Minister Vijay for PM.
- Congress minister P Viswanathan opposed the idea, saying Rahul Gandhi remains his party’s choice for PM.
