Two stolen lemurs from Bangladesh traced to Anant Ambani’s Vantara in Gujarat
- Two ring-tailed lemurs stolen from Bangladesh’s Gazipur Safari Park have been traced to Vantara in Gujarat.
- Investigators said three lemurs were stolen in March 2025 and later smuggled into India through the Darshana border.
- The two lemurs were reportedly sold for around ₹48 lakh to an institution linked to Vantara.
- Authorities are trying to confirm their identity through DNA tests, as the animals had not been microchipped in Bangladesh.
