Uber India faces fresh job cuts as global restructuring hits workforce
- Uber is cutting about 3,300 roles worldwide, around 10 per cent of its staff, and 20 per cent of managers.
- In India that means 200 to 250 people, across technology and operations, and both juniors and managers.
- Nearly half its AI Solutions team in India is affected, six months after an earlier cut of about 80 jobs.
- Uber says it is removing layers to move faster, and will support those leaving through the transition.
