Union Cabinet approves ₹2.79 lakh crore package for agriculture and urban transport
- The Union Cabinet approved a
- Rs 2,79,157 crore package on Wednesday, covering agriculture, energy and urban transport.
- Cabinet Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw confirmed 1,86,405 crore rupees will fund the PM DHARA renewable initiative.
- The government allocated 1,790 crore rupees to deploy an intelligent traffic management system in Delhi.
- Another 90,962 crore rupees was cleared for the 2026-27 rabi price policy covering six crops.
