- He said the West Asia crisis has put a heavy burden on fuel costs, after IndiGo raised its fuel surcharge.
- The ministry will consult all stakeholders, including airlines and oil companies, before taking a decision.
- India has mandated that 1% of international flight fuel come from sustainable sources by 2027, rising to 5% by 2030.
