UP CM Yogi announces free LPG cylinders for Ujjwala families on Diwali and Holi

UP CM Yogi Adityanath said on Tuesday eligible Ujjwala families will get a free LPG cylinder on Diwali and Holi.
The programme gave refill subsidies to over 1.89 crore beneficiaries, with Rs 1,500 crore allocated.
He said a cylinder costs Rs 983.45, the Centre gives Rs 335 and the family pays Rs 648.45.
Yogi said Congress-era connections brought hardship, while his government gave poor families free ones.
