UP farmer hit with ₹5 crore tax notice alleges identity misuse

A farmer in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, received a tax notice demanding ₹5 crore.
He alleges his identity documents were misused to establish a business in his name.
The farmer says he has never owned a business or obtained GST registration.
He works as a daily wage labourer and supports his four daughters, the village head says.
