UPI AutoPay gets bigger: SIPs, insurance and credit card bills now up to ₹1 lakh
- UPI AutoPay can now handle recurring payments like SIPs, insurance premiums and credit card bills.
- For these three categories, recurring payments of up to ₹1 lakh can be made without fresh extra authentication.
- AutoPay also covers EMIs, utility bills and subscriptions, including services such as Netflix.
- Users get a pre-debit alert 24 hours before payment and can pause, change or cancel AutoPay mandates.
