Vande Bharat gets timing trial on 363-km Bengaluru-Mangaluru route
- A new Vande Bharat Express between Bengaluru and Mangaluru has entered timing trials on the 363-km route.
- The trial run covers the Yesvantpur–Mangaluru Central route, with stops planned at Hassan, Sakleshpur and Subrahmanya Road.
- The train is scheduled to cover the route in around 8 hours and 20 minutes, subject to final timings.
- The service moves closer to launch after electrification of the challenging Western Ghats section, enabling Vande Bharat operations.
