YouTube quietly moves dislike button into three-dot menu for some users
- YouTube is testing a change that hides the dislike button on regular videos for a small group of users.
- • Instead of appearing next to the like button, dislikes are now placed inside the three-dot menu below videos.
- YouTube removed public dislike counts in 2021 to protect creators from harassment and targeted negative feedback.
- The change is mainly being tested on desktop, with no confirmation yet of a wider rollout.
