21-year-old Indian swimmer becomes youngest man to complete Oceans Seven
- Anshuman Jhingran, 21, became the youngest male to complete the Oceans Seven open-water swims.
- He completed his final swim across Japan’s Tsugaru Strait, finishing the 19.5-km stretch in 12 hours 40 minutes.
- The swim came with 8°C water, hypothermia and the risk of strong winds and sharks.
- Jhingran took up open-water swimming after a cycling accident at 15 ended his competitive swimming career.
