Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth face backlash over Hyderabadi accent in Lust Stories 3

A segment of Netflix’s Lust Stories 3 featuring Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth has drawn mixed reactions over its Hyderabadi accent.
Many Hyderabad viewers criticised the pronunciation of local words like “kaiku”, “nakko” and “aisich”, calling the accent unnatural.
The episode, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, is set in 1987 Hyderabad and uses local language to build the story’s setting.
Both actors have links to Hyderabad and Telugu cinema, which led some viewers to expect a more authentic dialect portrayal.
