AI helps Madhya Pradesh flag 135 chief municipal officers over purchase irregularities

An AI audit helped Madhya Pradesh identify 135 chief municipal officers for purchase irregularities.
They are among 392 municipal officials and staff found with anomalies in digital purchases worth crores.
Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Dubey said on Sunday that some have been dismissed or demoted.
The audit examined data from the MP e-Nagar Palika and Government e Marketplace purchase portals.
