Companies get extended deadlines for financial statements and annual returns

Companies can file FY2025–26 financial statements by December 31, 2026, without additional fees.
The deadline for filing annual returns through Forms MGT-7 and MGT-7A is January 31, 2027.
The extension covers AOC-4 forms, including consolidated financial statements and applicable XBRL and NBFC filings.
The Ministry extended the deadlines after stakeholders reported MCA-21 portal issues, including downtime, slow responses and login errors.
