- Air India Express flight IX 415 from Kochi to Abu Dhabi returned after the crew detected rapid fall in engine 1 oil quantity, on September 7.
- The Boeing 737 was about 50 minutes into the flight at 36,000 feet when Engine 1 oil quantity dropped rapidly.
- Pilots followed safety procedures and turned back as oil pressure later fluctuated into the cockpit gauge’s red zone.
- The aircraft landed safely at Cochin International Airport, and passengers were sent to Abu Dhabi on another aircraft.
