Auto rides get pricier across Telangana after 14 years
- Telangana has hiked auto fares for the first time in 14 years, with new rates now applicable statewide.
- The minimum fare is now ₹30 for the first 1.6 km, up from ₹20.
- Passengers will pay ₹14 for every additional kilometre, compared with the earlier ₹11.
- Waiting charges are ₹0.75 per minute, while night fares will be 1.5x between 11pm and 5am.
