Bank strike postponed after talks between bank management and unions
- Bank unions postponed the September 28–30 strike after discussions with the Indian Banks’ Association IBA.
- The Indian Banks’ Association IBA and United Forum of Bank Unions UFBU will form a high level committee discuss declaring remaining Saturdays as holidays.
- Both sides agreed to discuss changes to the Performance Linked Incentive PLI scheme for senior bank officers.
- IBA and UFBU will continue discussions on pending employee demands.
