Banned kite manjha kills a worker on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway
- Raviraj, 25, from Bihar, was riding towards Ghazipur on August 15 when the string caught his neck near UP Gate.
- Chinese manjha is a synthetic kite string coated with glass. It is banned in India but still sold secretly.
- Police are checking kite shops across Ghaziabad. In February, CM Yogi Adityanath said such deaths should be treated as murder.
