‘Be a Machchhar, not a cockroach’: BJP youth wing banners appear in Pune
- Posters in Pune urged people to “be a Machchhar, not a cockroach”, praising Flydubai Captain Smit Machchhar.
- The banners, put up by the BJP’s youth wing, took a dig at the satirical Cockroach Janta Party CJP.
- The slogan referred to Machchhar’s role in foiling an alleged mid-air attack by his co-pilot on September 30.
- The posters drew mixed reactions online, with some praising the wordplay while others called it distasteful and political.
