Bengal CM Adhikari says only Sanatan believers may touch Durga idols during immersion

Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari said only sanatan dharma believers may touch Durga idols at immersion.
He said so on Wednesday while inspecting security at Kolkata’s Baje Kadamtala Ghat.
Adhikari said the police commissioner was told to record and identify those who come to immerse.
He denied communal intent, saying sanctity required following traditions and scriptures.
