Bhagat Singh’s Photo on Ludhiana Voter Roll Sparks Row, Officials Clarify

A photograph resembling freedom fighter Bhagat Singh appeared against a voter’s name in the Ludhiana East electoral roll.
Congress leader Amarinder Singh Raja Warring flagged it in a social media post, calling it an outrageous error.
Ludhiana’s district electoral officer said the wrong photo came from an earlier roll and was carried into the August draft.
The administration said it was detected and corrected during verification, with the final roll due on 12 October.
