Cabinet approves ₹13,041 crore railway, highway projects across 3 states
- Union Cabinet approved four railway and one highway project worth Rs 13,041 crore across Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Bihar.
- Fourth lines on Kharagpur-Bhadrak at Rs 3,352 crore and Bhadrak-Haridaspur at Rs 1,583 crore were approved in Odisha.
- Gummidipundi-Gudur and Cuttack-Paradeep third and fourth lines approved at Rs 2,229 crore and Rs 2,286 crore.
- A four-lane Bihar highway linking Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi and Sonbarsa was approved at Rs 3,591 crore.
