Can’t get a 10th SIM now? Here’s what new rule says
- The Department of Telecommunications DoT has directed telecom companies to stop issuing new SIM cards to users who already have nine connections.
- From August 24, telecom operators must identify users crossing the limit and block additional mobile connections.
- The Digital Intelligence Platform DIP will help operators track subscribers holding multiple SIM cards across networks and regions.
