ChatGPT may soon let users lock private conversations
- ChatGPT may soon add Locked Chats, allowing users to protect selected saved conversations with a PIN, fingerprint or device authentication for extra privacy.
- References found in the latest Android app suggest locked conversations could be hidden from the normal chat history, sidebar and search, keeping sensitive chats separate from regular ones.
- Unlike Temporary Chats, these conversations would remain saved and may use a separate memory space. However, OpenAI has not officially announced or launched the feature yet.
