- Chief Justice of India Surya Kant inaugurated India’s first Victim Rights Centre in Patna.
- The centre has been set up at the Bihar State Legal Services Authority premises.
- It will provide legal rights information and essential assistance under one roof to victims of different crimes.
- The centre will also support “invisible victims”, including people whose suffering may not be immediately visible or formally recognised.
