Congress MP Akoijam gets interim protection in sexual harassment case

A Delhi court issued notice to police on Congress MP Angomcha Bimol Akoijam’s anticipatory bail plea.
The court directed Delhi Police to respond and barred coercive action until November 5.
Special Judge Dig Vinay Singh scheduled the next hearing for November 5.
The plea follows a sexual harassment FIR registered against Akoijam on October 12.
