‘Everything is available’: SC pulls up authorities over firecracker sales in Delhi
- The SC took note of an HT report showing conventional and unauthorised firecrackers being openly sold in Delhi markets.
- The report found crackers being sold in Chandni Chowk, Sadar Bazaar, Sarojini Nagar and other areas.
- Several boxes lacked mandatory QR codes, while some codes failed to verify whether the crackers were certified as green.
- • The court asked the Centre, Delhi government and police to take action and ensure its restrictions are enforced.
