Delhi airport drops to 11th among world’s busiest despite 7.81 crore passengers
- According to Airports Council International, Delhi's airport handled 7.81 crore passengers in 2025.
- It beat Seoul by 40 lakh passengers, Los Angeles by 44 lakh and Paris by 61 lakh. It is the only Indian airport in the global top 20.
- But Delhi was ninth in 2024. It has slipped to 11th because its traffic grew only 0.42 percent, while others grew faster.
- Atlanta remains the world's busiest with 10.6 crore passengers.
