Delhi gears up for BRICS Summit with 24x7 control room, traffic curbs
- Delhi is preparing for heavy VVIP movement during the BRICS Summit at Bharat Mandapam on September 12-13.
- NDMC's 24x7 command centre will operate from September 5-14 to monitor civic services and complaints.
- Around 4,800 traffic personnel and 22 diversion points are planned to manage summit-related movement across Delhi.
- Traffic curbs will be imposed as needed, while commuters are advised to follow alerts and use alternate routes.
