Kia Sorento debuts in India with hybrid powertrain and six- or seven-seat options
- Kia launches the Sorento, its first hybrid SUV in India, entering the country’s hybrid passenger vehicle market.
- The three-row premium SUV starts at ₹27.99 lakh for the diesel version and ₹29.49 lakh for the hybrid.
- The hybrid gets a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with an electric motor, with all-wheel drive also available.
- Made at Kia’s Anantapur plant in Andhra Pradesh, the Sorento comes in six- and seven-seat versions and features Level 2+ ADAS.
