Delhi Police de-notifies Jantar Mantar as a protest venue, names three alternative places

Jantar Mantar has been de-notified as a designated protest venue, according to a Delhi Police circular.
Ramlila Maidan, Burari Maidan and CBD Ground in East Delhi have been named as the protest sites instead.
The decision follows recommendations of a committee set up by the Ministry of Home Affairs to find alternative venues.
It comes hours after CJP activists went to Parliament Street police station seeking a date to protest at Jantar Mantar.
